How to Get Rid of a Ringworm

How to Get Rid of a Ringworm

I am going to tell you an easy and inexpensive way to get rid of a ringworm.

What is a ringworm? Ringworm is classified as a fungal infection, which appears on the surface of the skin. It thrives in warm moist conditions. It comes from a fungus called dermatophytes. This fungus feeds on the skin of animals and people.

There are many topically prescriptions that you can use to get rid of the ringworm but the best remedy is found at your local drugstore for about $1.00 and it is hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is a form of oxygen and this fungus is anaerobic which means it is destroyed by oxygen.

Difficulty:
Easy

Instructions

things you'll need:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Cotton Ball

    • 1
Buy a 3% solution of Hydrogen Peroxide. You can buy a higher percent solution, but they are usually harder to find. You may want to dilute this 3% solution because it may tingle when you apply it.
    • 2
Wet the cotton ball. You can actually soak the cotton ball. Peroxide only activates if it comes in contact with tampered skin cells.
    • 3
Apply it to the infected area.
    • 4
Repeat 2 hours until the presence of the ring worm is gone. Then apply twice a day.

Heal Naturally From Asthma

Heal Naturally From Asthma

Asthma is a very common chronic disease involving the respiratory system in which the airways constrict, become inflamed, and are lined with excessive amounts of mucus, often in response to one or more triggers.[1] These episodes may be triggered by such things as exposure to an environmental stimulant such as an allergen, environmental tobacco smoke, cold or warm air, perfume, pet dander, moist air, exercise or exertion, or emotional stress.

Our lungs were created for the purpose of taking in oxygen and expelling carbon dioxide. When a person has asthma, their lungs are filled with mucus. Therefore, the smart thing would be to get rid of some of the mucus. Inhalers only provide temporary relief, why not have permanent relief. Many people have gotten rid of asthma permanently. It did come with a diet and lifestyle change,
A few tips to lesson Asthma and asthma attacks.

Drink fresh alkaline water.- the water will help dissolve some of the mucus in your body. One of the reasons that the mucus build up is because the tissues need water.

Eat More alkaline foods- limit your consumption of dairy, and meat, or at least make it fresh, raw, hormone/antibiotic free dairy, and grass fed organic meat.

Exercise– Deep breathing exercises like yoga help strengthen the lungs while providing the oxygen your body needs during this time

Consume complimentary herbs - most herbs do not work without a little help. If you are taking an herb but don’t give your body the nutrients to support the herb then it will not work or it won’t work as well as it should.

Good asthma herbs include:
pulmonary, expectorant and demulcent herbs and include Mullein (leaf/flowers), Lobelia, Fenugreek, Coltsfoot, Boneset, Comfrey, Marshmallow (Althea), Licorice, Pleurisy, Slippery Elm bark, White Pine Bark, Hyssop, Eucalyptus, Yerba Santa, Elecampane, Ground Ivy, and Horehound. It's really unfortunate that your Rulers (federal government) have banned Cannabis because Cannabis is a great herb for all respiratory problems, taken in tea or tincture (liquid extract) form of course.

Essential oils are also effective for respiratory health and healing. Oils such as Eucalyptus, Pine Bark, Inula, Cajeput, Hyssop, Wintergreen, Peppermint, Spruce, White camphor, and Spearmint can be added to a diffuser or bath water. Inhaling the vaporized molecules of these oils in the air or hot water steam of a bath will dissolve hardened mucus, open nasal passages, and clear sinus and lung congestion. Some of these oils such as Eucalyptus and Peppermint can be rubbed in to the chest area (on top of a carrier oil) before bed which will greatly help to do the things mentioned above. Crystals such as Angelite, Pink Tourmaline, Aventurine, Blue Chalcedony, Emerald, Iron Pyrite, Amethyst, Peridot, Chrysocolla, Pietersite, Rose Quartz, and Prehnite help in healing all lung disorders. They can be placed directly on the Fourth Chakra (located at the thymus gland) situated between the chest area or added to drinking water.

Healing Crisis

Healing Crisis

Most people start going through a healing crisis and immediately stop what they are doing because they think that it is making them worst. During healing your body cleans and regenerates itself to become healthy and disease free. Our society has relied so much on fixing the symptom that we do not know or understand what the root of the problem is. When you go through a cleanse your body can have a healing crisis and the symptoms that you start to experience are worst than before you started. There is also a chance that your body starts to dig up old symptoms from your childhood.
Going Back to Child Hood

We learn from an early age that symptoms are bad and should be stopped or suppressed. We take all kinds of drugs to stop our bodies from eliminating catarrah and waste. This is very confusing to the body because mucus production is the body's perfect mechanism for taking out the garbage. If that process is suppressed, the immune system is compromised and the next time it won't work quite as well.
Your body has it's own memory and it remembers all the injuries and all of the times your immune system suppressed. In the reversal process these memories are brought to light in reverse order from which they happened and people re-experience illnesses and traumas in a phenomenon known as retracing. The difference this time is that the symptoms come and go quickly and there is an underlying sense that the whole process is not threatening, that it is natural and health promoting. The healthy changes that you feel after a healing crises remain as long as a healthy supportive lifestyle is embraced, as long as you continue to honor the remarkable and extraordinary intelligence of the body.
The body naturally moves through a process of rebalancing, regenerating and cleansing during healing. This can create uncomfortable sensations and bodily responses that can be rather hard to accept when you've been trying so hard to take good care of yourself. Understanding the process is crucial so that you won't be inclined to abandon your program when you find that you feel a little bit worse before you feel better.
The Chemistry Behind Healing
To a lesser extent, the same process occurs when we abandon lower quality foods and replace them with better foods. Lower quality foods have undergone more preparation.
Spices, salt and other ingredients have been added, and they tend to be more stimulating than less prepared and more natural foods. Animal food, such as meat, fowl, fish etc, is more stimulating than cheeses, nuts and vegetable proteins. Consequently the withdrawal of stimulation, which follows the abandonment of animal food produces a slower heart action, a resting phase that registers to the mind as relaxation or a decrease in energy.
This initial letdown (healing crisis) lasts about three to ten days or slightly longer (depending on the disease), and is followed by an increase of strength, a feeling of diminishing stress and great well-being.
During this initial phase (lasting about ten days on the average, to several weeks in others), the vital energies that are usually in the periphery or external parts of the body, such as the muscles and skin, begin to move to the vital internal organs and start reconstruction. This shunting of much of the power to the internal region produces a feeling of less energy in the muscles, which the mind interprets as some weakness
Now, let us return to the symptoms that occur in the process of regeneration.
The person who starts a better diet, stays on it for three days to a week and then quits, will say, "Oh, I felt better on the old diet - the new one makes me feel weak". He failed because he did not give his body a chance to adjust and complete its first phase of action, recuperation. If he had waited a while longer, he would have begun to feel better than before he started.

The differences between a “healing crisis” and a “disease Crisis”.

A healing crisis and a disease crisis may look alike by their outward manifestations, but they are taking place under different conditions.
A disease crisis is when the body is loaded to its toleration point with toxins and waste products. The body arouses itself in self-defense and brings forth acute elimination of toxins in the form of a cold, fever, inflammations, etc. The body is on the defense and produces a disease crisis. If poisons are not eliminated, the body, until it becomes sick, adapts itself to them functioning at a lower energy level. These foreign wastes accumulate and inhibit the organs from performing their normal functions until finally a chronic disease manifests.
On the other hand, a “healing crisis” develops because the healing forces are in the ascending. Through natural living and a frugal diet, the body gets stronger and digs into the tissues and eliminates old chronic waste causing symptoms, which are the healing crisis. During a healing crisis, therapy can be used to a much greater extent because the patient already has endurance and can tolerate cleansing herbs, fasting, and advanced water treatments. When people are weaker, building foods, short fasts and tonic herbs are used. Then once the energy returns, more vigorous cleansing methods can be used.
A healing crisis shows that there is enough energy in the body to eliminate unwanted materials. It can take the form of fevers, excessive menstrual discharge, diarrhea, itching, boils, ulcers, hemorrhages, swollen limbs/face, headaches, mobilization of mucous, weakness, weight-loss,nausea, vomiting and other digestive disorders, pains resurfacing, worsening of existing symptoms, rapid pulse, skin eruptions, and some say they feel like their world is "collapsing" etc. Reactions will vary according to how seriously ill the person has been, how much he got abused by the environment he lives and works in.

Fiber and Weightloss

Fiber and Weightloss

There are two types of fiber, soluble and insoluble. Soluble fiber is like a sponge; it absorbs excess cholesterol and toxins. Insoluble fiber is like a scrub brush; it ‘scours’ the intestinal tract and colon clean. Both types of fiber are essential for good health. Most people do not eat a proper, well balanced diet including fruits, vegetables, seeds and grains. Over time, this leads to a build-up of undigested food in the intestinal tract and colon which ferments, putrefies and becomes toxic. These toxins seep into the bloodstream and lead to poor health, chronic disease and can hinder your weight loss efforts.
How does fiber help?

It does 4 very special things to aid weight loss:

1. Fiber helps you reduce caloric intake because it curbs your appetite. 2. Fiber helps reduce the absorption of calories from the food you eat. This is referred to as the Fiber Flush Effect. 1
3. Fiber-rich foods are low-energy-density foods. This means that you get to eat a lot of fiber-rich food without eating a lot of calories.
4. Fiber slows down your body’s conversion of carbohydrates to sugar. This helps stabilize blood glucose levels and helps you lose weight.

Fiber and Hunger

There is a powerful hormone that helps regulate your satiety (the feeling of fullness that stops the hunger that causes you to eat). That hormone is cholecystokinin (CCK). The great news is that fiber causes increased production and prolonged activity of the hormone CCK. Eating a diet that is high in fiber will leave you feeling full and satisfied while reducing your caloric intake. Since fibre prolongs the activity of CCK, you will feel fuller longer and your cravings will diminish. The Fiber Flush Effect
A high-fiber diet can bind to calories from protein and fat, helping you lose weight. In a recent study by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, researchers set a certain number of calories for subject groups and altered the fiber content. Results demonstrated that fewer calories were absorbed with increased fiber intake. It was found that people who consumed up to 36 grams of fiber a day absorbed 130 fewer daily calories. Over a year, that adds up to over 47,000 calories. 2
Since each pound of fat is equal to 3,500 calories, every time you consume 3,500 fewer calories than you need, you will lose one pound. Fiber is the Biggest Bang for Your Calorie Buck
Fiber-rich foods are low-energy-density foods – in other words, you get to eat a lot of food without eating a lot of calories! For example, a bar of chocolate has more calories than a peach that weighs five times more than the chocolate bar. You will gain more weight and feel less full eating the chocolate than you will the peach. The peach will leave you feeling fuller with fewer calories because the fiber in it takes up more space and makes you feel fuller, longer.
Fiber and Blood Chemistry Stability
Fiber helps slow down the conversion of carbohydrates to sugar, so high fiber foods can help normalize blood sugar levels. Fiber also increases insulin sensitivity, which is the measure of how well cells respond to insulin and reduce the level of glucose. By eating a high fiber diet, over time your body will begin to use the glucose contained in the stored fat; in other words, your body will become more of a natural ‘fat burning’ machine.
These four factors make fiber a fantastic ‘secret weapon’ in the fight against fat!
Increasing your fiber intake
Eat at least 2 cups of fruits and 2 1/2 cups of vegetables each day. Fruits and vegetables that are high in fiber include: beans, artichokes, sweet potatoes, pears, green peas, berries, prunes, figs and dates, spinach, apples and oranges.
Replace refined white bread with 100% whole-grain breads and cereals (cooked or dry). Eat brown rice instead of white rice. Eat more oatmeal. Snack on organic popcorn.
When eating store-bought foods, check the nutrition information labels for the amounts of dietary fiber in each product. Aim for 4 - 5 grams of fiber per serving.
Add 1/4 cup of wheat bran to foods such as cooked cereal, applesauce or meat loaf. 3

Female Infertility

Female Infertility

Infertility in a woman is usually defined as the failure to conceive after a year or more of regular sexual activity during the time of ovulation. it may also be the inability to carry a pregnancy full term it can be difficult to pin point the case of infertility in a female.

Some causes of infertility:

Ovalatory failure or defects- ovulation takes place rarely or irregularly Blocked fallopian tubes Endometriosis Uterine fibroids In women over thirty four fertility declines rapidly

Ways to become fertile again:

Some women also develop antibodies to their partners sperm in effect becoming allergic to them, so holding off on sex for 2 weeks at a time will increase fertility Chlamydia is also a major cause of infertility and it is often overlooked. Getting an STD check will also help. Time your ovulation determining if you are ovulating may be the first step to fertility
Change your diet women who add Omega 3 6 and 9 faty acids increase fertility
Eliminate fats, fried foods, sugar and or junk foods
Use herbs: Astralagus Ginseng Gotu kola Licorice root

Test to Determine Fertility

Endometrial Biopsy FHS test
Hysterosalpingo gram (HSG)
Postcoital test (PCT, Simshuner test)
Transvaginal Ultrasound

Diverticulitis

Diverticulitis

Diverticulitis is a condition in which diverticula are perforated and become infected and inflamed. What are diverticula? They are saclike, pea-or grape-sized protrusions in the intestinal wall. They usually form if a person eats a low fiber diet. When you eat a diet low in fiber, your stool does not get a chance to soften and it is harder to pass, causing the person to have constant constipation. Greatly increased pressure is required to force small portions of hard, dry stool through the bowel. This rise in pressure can cause pouches to form at weak points in the wall of the colon. The diverticula themselves cause no symptoms.
Many people have the saclike protrusions and never develop the inflamed pouches. However if tiny cuts in the pouches become infected or inflamed, the results can be severe; causing fever chills nausea and pain. Diverticulitis can be either acute or chronic.
Symptoms include:
• Cramping
• Bloating
• Movement
• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Nausea
• Blood in stool
• An almost continual need to eliminate
• Peritonitis (an inflammation of the lining of the abdominal cavity)
• Tenderness in the left side of the abdomen that is relieved by passing gas or by a bowel

Helpful Herbs:
• Alfalfa
• Aloe Vera
• Licorice
• Cayenne
• Chamomile
• Goldenseal
• Papaya
• Red clover
• Slipper elm

People with this condition should eat plenty of green leafy vegetables and garlic to help the body’s healing process.

Detoxification Symptoms

Detoxification Symptoms

WHAT IS DETOXIFICATION?
Detoxification is the final expulsion of waste materials through the various excretory organs. Detoxification takes place in the human body continually from birth throughout life. Detoxification stops at time of death of the human body.

Detoxification symptoms may appear when you alter your lifestyle by starting something new, such as changing your diet or exercising, or by discontinuing a current habit, such as eating chocolate or drinking coffee. The symptoms may be of short duration and slight irritation, or they could last longer and cause you considerable discomfort.
The Herxheimer Reaction occurs when the body is detoxifying too rapidly and toxins are being released faster than the body can eliminate them. The duration of symptoms may not be linear; there is a chance that they will come in cycles. The most important thing to do is rest when you feel the need.

Possible detoxification symptoms:
Clogged sinus Malaise Constipation Nausea Vomiting Headache Cough Diarrhea Fatigue Fever Flu symptoms Cold symptoms Gas Headache Irritability Moodiness Skin rash Stomachache

Ways to minimize the Herxheimer Reaction:
Drink a lot of pure water Minimize daily exercises Take detoxification slowly Don't increase the dose of herbals Use aromatherapy oils for aches (peppermint, birch, wintergreen) Sweat by using saunas, baths, and herbs Avoid foreign chemicals and refined processed foods

The use of detoxification techniques can sometimes make the difference between an effective holistic healing program and endless frustration. I have seen these techniques get many people started on their healing path where medications, diet, exercise, yoga, and everything else failed. Cleansing techniques such as those described below have been frequently and successfully prescribed by holistic healers for moderate to severe immune system disorders.
It is well-known that eating a diet high in saturated fats can often lead to a buildup in the arteries (atherosclerosis). In a similar fashion, fats, cholesterols, mucus, xenobiotics (organic toxins), inorganic chemicals, etc. can build up in various organs and tissues of the body, severely affecting the operation of those organs and tissues. Often, these buildups aren't severe enough to be recognized as diseases unto themselves, yet they can lead to quite a few problems throughout the body.
The exposure to toxic chemicals is a large source of toxic buildups throughout the body. After years of exposure to these substances, often the body can no longer keep up with eliminating these substances and they get recirculated into the bloodstream, wreacking havoc thoughout the body, or stored in the liver, body fat or many other parts of the body. These cleanses are geared toward removing these toxic chemicals as well as other toxins.
In addition to the buildups throughout the body, problems can begin to arise in different areas of the body. The GI tract can develop microscopic ulcerations, pH imbalances, imbalance in bacteria and fungus, granulomas, hypersecretion of mucus, and many other problems. In addition to deposits of fatty acids in the liver, liver cells can begin to die, bile flow can become inhibited making digestion of fats difficult, etc. And so it goes with other organs and tissues throughout the body.
These types of buildups and problems throughout the body can contribute to the development of a serious illness. In order to reverse the serious illness, the buildups and other problems need to be removed as part of an overall healing plan. A holistic healing plan *without* the use of cleansing techniques can often result in the gradual removal of toxic substances from the body. But, in many instances, the detoxification is so slow or even non-existent that the use of cleansing techniques can be extremely beneficial. If you have had chemical poisoning or have been using prescription pharmaceuticals for a number of years, detoxification may be extremely helpful to your recovery.

Colloidal Silver

Colloidal Silver

Colloidal Silver is an inexpensive healing agent and disinfectant that has a myriad of applications. It is a clear golden liquid composed of 99.99% percent pure silver particles approximately 0.001 to 0.01 microns in diameter that are suspended in water.

It may be mixed with either tap or distilled water (preferred) and applied topically, taken by mouth, or administered intravenously. Topically it can be used to fight fungal infections of the skin or nails and to promote the healing of burns wounds rashes and sunburn. It can be used on toothpaste or mouth sores, as eye drops, and as a gargle to fight tooth decay and bad breath. It also can be used as a sterilizer and can be sprayed on air conditioner filters and into air ducts and vents to prevent germs from growing. Taken internally, colloidal silver can be used to fight infection. It has been shown to be effective against more than 650 disease causing organisms.

Bentonite Clay

Bentonite Clay

Bentonite Clay also known as for montmorillonite, the active mineral in many medicinal clays. It comes from weathered volcanic ash. This clay is great because it has a large surface area which allows it to absorb metal and bacteria from our bodies and because this clay is not absorbed by our bodies the waste gets carried away in our bowels.
Some benefits to look forward to while taking Bentonite clay:
Ø improved intestinal regularity
Ø relief from chronic constipation
Ø diarrhea
Ø indigestion
Ø ulcers
Ø a surge in physical energy
Ø clearer complexion
Ø brighter and whiter eyes
Ø enhanced alertness
Ø emotional uplift
Ø improved tissue and gum repair
Ø increased resistance to infections
Ø eliminating painful ganglion cysts
Ø removing intestinal parasites
Ø allergy and hay fever relief
Ø eliminating anemia and acne
Ø neutralizing allergens
Ø reducing heartburn and indigestion by absorbing excess stomach acids

Bentonite Clay is probably best known for it’s internal detoxification, cleaning the lining of the colon. As the colon becomes cleaner, it is able to function properly in absorbing nutrients, thereby increasing energy, as well as adding 71 trace and ultra-trace minerals. Clay works on the entire organism. No part of the body is left untouched by its healing energies
Here is a Great source if you would like to learn more about taking it internally. There is a cleanse called the P&B cleanse, where you take 3 or more shakes a day and it cleans your system. Here is an eHow article on making P&B shakes.

Bentonite Clay Herpes

We have also been getting a lot of emails asking how can bentonite clay will help with herpes. If you take the powdered form of the clay mix it with water and let it dry, it will add relief to your outbreak. At first it will be cooling and then it will start to tighten up. Wash the clay off using warm water and natural soap and apply Ozonated Olive Oil to the area, you can repeat this twice a day. Internally
Some people also take the clay internally as a detox. The theory is that it will help pull the toxins from your body.

Bad Sweeteners or Shall We Say Chemicals

Bad Sweeteners or Shall We Say Chemicals

Sometimes chemicals are given tricky names to disguise what they really are ... chemicals. They are not good for our body and have no business being in the foods we eat. Below are a list of ingredients that you may find in some of your favorite foods.
Acesulfame – A synthetic chemical that our bodies cant metabolize. This substance needs more testing to determine safety.Aspartame – also known as equal, NutraSweet and NatraTaste. It is a synthetic derivation of a combination of the amino acids aspartic acid and phenylalanine. There are few if any non-industry funded studies that have been done t resolve this sweetener’s safety issues. Some European studies link the consumption of aspartame with cancer in rats.Crystalline Fructose – High- fructose corn syrup that has been further processes to crystallizeDextrose – a sweetener which is also called corn syrup or grape sugar. It is usually obtained in the hydrolysis of starch into glucose.High Fructose corn syrup (HFCS) – is a product that can be cheaply produced because of excess corn production due to government subsidies. Corn syrup initially does not contain much fructose. Through a multistage process of mixing corn syrup with bacterial enzymes, a dramatic increase in fructose is produced, making it much sweeter and cheaper than cane sugar. Americans consume over 90 pounds per year. It metabolizes ito fat faster than sugar, and overconsumption of this is linked to weight issuesSaccharin – A synthetic chemical that was discovered in 1879. It is also known as Sweet n Low. Our bodies can’t metabolize saccharin, and there is much evidence that it is unsafe for human consumptionSucralose – is also known as splenda. Sugar is chemically combined with chlorine to produce a sweetener that our bodies can’t use as fuel, making it noncaloric. Americans consume 20 pounds of artificial sweetener per year.

Anti Inflammatory Diet

Anti Inflammatory Diet

Would an Anti Inflammatory Diet be the cure to some of the problems that you have been experiencing? Inflammation is simple yet diverse; it is a natural reaction to injury or infection. You may think to yourself I am not injured and I am not infected. Well you may be infected and not know. How? Your diet can cause infection. If you are not eating the right foods and giving your body the proper nutrition that it needs, which is different for everyone, you body may start to give you subtle signs that you are inflamed.
Some other causes include:
• Free Radicals - rusting
• Stress - Cortisol
• Lack of exercise
• Allergens - gluten, food allergies, molds. A lot of people have food allergies and have no idea.
• Infections - gum disease, Chlamydia, HSV, EBV • Toxins - petrochemicals and heavy metals
The modern approach to inflammation tells you to take tons of anti inflammatory drugs. People are taking everything from aspirin to steroids to help their inflamed conditions. A lot of the medicine that is prescribed can be linked to intestinal bleeding, kidney failure and even death.
The right approach is to find out the triggers of your inflammation and get rid of them. Then try to support your body’s natural immune system. Your body will automatically help restore you to your natural state.
